About Dr. Garcia Ferre
Dr. Alejandra Garcia Ferre is an OB/GYN who joined Temecula Valley Ob/Gyn in September 2026 after completing her residency right here in our community. She is passionate about women’s health and about building trusting relationships with her patients through every stage of life, from adolescence through pregnancy, childbirth, and beyond. Dr. Garcia Ferre is fluent in both English and Spanish.
Originally from Puerto Rico, Dr. Garcia Ferre earned her Bachelor of Science in Cellular Molecular Biology from the University of Puerto Rico and her medical degree from Universidad Central del Caribe School of Medicine. She completed her OB/GYN residency through the Universal Health Services Southern California Medical Education Consortium at Rancho Springs Medical Center in Murrieta. There she served as Chief Resident of Education and was active in resident wellness and peer support programs.
Her commitment to caring for underserved communities runs deep. During medical school, she provided care through mobile clinics and community health programs across Puerto Rico and helped staff the island’s first COVID-19 vaccination clinics. She has also been involved in research on women’s health, including studies on cervical cancer risk factors and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on Hispanic women’s health care, which she presented at the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists’ District IV Annual Meeting. Outside the office, Dr. Garcia Ferre enjoys golfing, ceramics, staying active, and traveling.
